OPPORTUNITIES IN THE LAB

We are actively recruiting students, research assistants, postdocs, and faculty to join our dynamic team in the exciting field of microbiome research. We offer competitive salaries and generous benefit packages commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Trainees in the lab will receive quality mentorship and training to help achieve their professional goals. We have plenty of projects to work on; we also encourage trainees to propose their own ideas under the research theme of the lab. POSTDOCTORAL FELLOW

Requirements:

  1. Ph.D. in computer science, biostatistics, bioinformatics, microbiology, RNA, or related fields.
  2. Experience in analyzing microbiome or (meta)genomic data is preferred.
  3. Demonstrated excellence in research (at least 1 high-quality publications in reputable journals).
  4. Good oral and written communication skills in English.

RESEARCH ASSISTANT

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor or Master degree in computer science, statistics, epidemiology, bioinformatics or related fields.
  2. Strong computational and programming skills (R or Python).
  3. Experience on analyzing microbiome data sets is preferred.
  4. Good oral and written communication skills in English.

SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor or Master degree in computer science, bioinformatics or related fields.
  2. Familiar with C++, javascript, or Python.
  3. Experience in developing software packges or web-based servers is highly preferred.
  4. Good oral and written communication skills in English.

FACULTY

Requirements:

  1. Ph.D. in microbiology, bioinformatics, computational biology, RNA biology, or related fields.
  2. Strong publication record in reputable journals.
  3. Ability to establish an independent research program.
  4. Good oral and written communication skills in English.
